It’s more fun than you expected! Online Speed Dating, to make friends, but from a distance.

The BUas Community Project Committee has come up with a new concept that is in between speed dating and covid-friendly contact. A solution that is in between online dating and speed dating. You speak to at least 8 other people while sitting comfortably on your couch, at your desk, or in the park. You see each other live, but via the computer. You will get to know the daily activities, passions, wishes, dreams and stories from a person studying at BUas. A super fun and easy way to make first contact, and who knows....

BUas is now offering online speed dating, when meeting each other in real life is no longer possible. This is a very fun and especially safe way to get to know new people and friends!

How does it work? It’s very simple

You will meet 8 new people by having a 1-1 meeting, each 7 minutes long, in outbreak room arranged by the hosts.

But what can you talk about to a person you have never met, via a screen online, and within 7 minutes? To make this speed dating somewhat more fun and interactive, some questions will be given, to open the conversations. The answers you give will eventually result in a prize!

You will have to figure out, from every person you meet, why the two of you are put into this team together. This can for instance be because you both love doing karaoke, or both like special beers. The more creative and well-thought your answer is, the more chance you have of winning the prize at the end! What this prize is, will be announced at the end of the Online Speed Dating.
