Here we are again with more film and series recommendations for you to watch. It’s been a while, since I took a little break in between January and March from writing. Therefore, you had to miss the watchlist of February. Nevertheless, I am back with some of the best television shows that are currently popular among the viewers. They are all ready for you to binge-watch. Let’s start off with one for the girls!
The Bold Type (Netflix)
The Bold Type was recently added on the Netflix database and is currently no.6 in the Netherlands. Personally, I started watching the show just a few weeks ago and I am obsessed. The show includes three millennials who work at a women’s magazine in New York and juggle with their careers, romance, friendships and big-city life while finding their own voices. It is not only easy to follow, but it also includes lots of drama, sex and amazing advice for maybe your personal life. If you love a good drama series, like Gossip Girl, Friends or Pretty Little Liars, this show is everything you are looking for.

Peaky Blinders (Netflix or Prime Video)
Even though it doesn’t have the highest IMDb score, Peaky Blinders has been receiving lots of attention the past weeks. With Tommy Shelby in charge, the Shelby family tries to expand their criminal power and network. In doing so, they encounter infiltrators, enemy street gangs and corruption. The fictional family is loosely based on a real urban gang of the same name, who was active in Birmingham from the 1890s to the early 20th century. “Peaky Blinders” includes and inspires all the iconic sayings, the classic and though style and the brutal reality that is portrayed so well.
I would definitely recommend you to give Peaky Blinders a shot, especially if you love tension in combination with crimes, corruption and power relations. Also, for this show, at least 5 seasons are ready for you to be watched!

I think we have all heard of Prison Break before. This show has been enjoying its popularity for years. It brought a new kind of drama to the table. Michael Scofield’s quest to help his brother, Lincoln Burrows, escape from prison was an instant hit among the audience. Michael, a prison designer, gets himself thrown into one of his own prisons to help his falsely accused brother, Lincoln escape death row. He has been accused of the murder of the Vice President’s brother. If you are already triggered by the small explanation of the show as much as I am, I would recommend you to start watching!

New Amsterdam (Netflix, Hulu or Prime Video)
Currently no.2 on Netflix, New Amsterdam is trending and ready to be watched by you. “New Amsterdam” can be compared with the show Good Doctor. It includes the same competent hospital drama while telling heart-warming and heart-breaking stories. The show highlights a new medical director who breaks the rules in order to heal the system at America’s oldest public hospital. If you are a fan of the Good Doctor or Grey’s Anatomy, I would recommend you to watch this show immediately.
