On the way to work, on the train, during breakfast or while cleaning and exercising. I think they are an ideal way to broaden my knowledge and get motivated through other people's stories. That is why I hereby share my top 5 most inspiring podcast recommendations! In this list I mainly touch on podcasts that inspire and motivate you, to achieve goals and to learn more about feelings and life.
Ted Talks Daily
In Ted Talks Daily you listen to a new Ted Talk every day! These are offered as a podcast so that you can view them without images. Ted Talks Daily's topics are very unique. They cover a variety of issues, from “What will future jobs look like” to “The power of introverts”. These podcasts last between 8 and 15 minutes, perfect for breakfast!
Happy Place with Fearne Cotton
In Happy Place, Fearne Cotton invites guests who have overcome difficult phases in their lives. The guests tell how they did that and what they learned from it. Sometimes the episode contains heavy topics, but Fearne Cotton always ensures that you end the podcast happy and inspired.
Fit & Fearless
This podcast is hosted by three girls, Tally, Zanna and Vic. In this podcast, they have a light hearted approach to the topic of health and fitness. Every week there is a different sub topic that they dive deeper into. I use this podcast myself during my workout, because it really gets you inspired! Definitely recommended during sports.
The Tim Ferris Show
You may know him, the author of the book '4 hour workweek', Tim Ferris. In his podcast he interviews people about their successful career. Topics such as time management and goals are discussed. This is a more serious podcast, where you really have to focus. Don't be put off by this because I think this is the most inspiring podcast on the list!
Happier with Gretchen Rubin
The title says it all. Happier is about becoming happy: the conversations in the podcast are often about feelings and how you can best deal with them. The podcast also contains many tips on how to feel good and how to achieve your highest goals.
