1. Octoberfest Breda - 18 October

Super toll! You may have seen the videos on TikTok and Instagram of people in Muchen running to claim tables for the Oktoberfest. Breepark organizes the best Oktoberfest in the Netherlands! So, bring out your inner German because this will be an evening with lots of beer, lederhosen, dirndls, live entertainment and naturlich viel spaß! 2. Lost Memories Indoor Festival - 19 October

Attention Hardstyle fans! Lost Memories is coming up with an indoor festival. If you like hardstyle you should definitely check it out, an evening full of hardstyle bangers and a great atmosphere. There is a really nice line-up: Korsakoff - Darkraver - Outsiders - Pat-B - Ruthless - Francois - Yves - Franky Dux - Dark-E - Potato - Nowaxx - Rogue Zero - Genius - Taa - Jee Vee - Paul Brugel - The Saint .  

And there will even be a special act! The festival only lasts until 00:00, it's up to you whether you want to go to bed reasonably early or go clubbing afterwards.  What are you waiting for? 3. Breda Fair - 19 - 27 October

The annual fair with almost 60 attractions is almost here! If you have nothing to do during the autumn holidays, I definitely recommend that you take a look at the fair on the Chasseveld. Spend your money to win a mega Louis Vuitton bear, take awesome photos with your partner or friends in the photo booth, go on your favourite attraction, or enjoy the delicious churros and ‘oliebollen’. Even if you don't want to spend any money, it is still fun to take a walk around the fair and definitely worth your visit! 

4. Halloween Nights in Amusement Parks

I would also like to mention something that you can find throughout the country, namely the Halloween evenings in various amusement parks. My recommendations are Walibi Fright Nights and Halloween Nights in Toverland. And just across the border in Belgium you will find Halloween in Bobbejaanland. Watch out when you are in the scare zones because not only are you screaming from the rides at these spooky theme parks, but you're also running from clowns, zombies, and other creatures that appear out of nowhere. It's all part of the enjoyment, whether your companion is screaming in fear, or you are losing your composure while escaping a crazy person with a chainsaw. Are you brave enough for this not-for-the-faint-hearted event? If you aren't sure yet which Halloween park fits you the most, I recommend watching videos on YouTube, there are a lot of vlogs that you can watch that bring to vibe over really well. I added an hour-long video from DavincstyleGames that reviews the new haunted house ‘Us vs You’. Even though the video is in Dutch, it is clear to see the overall vibe.

5. Snuffelmarkt @Breepark - 10 November

With no fewer than 500 stalls in the event hall, you can spend a whole day wandering around and browsing at this flea market. Discover the fun, valuable and useful things you can buy. From vintage clothing, craft supplies, household items to toys for your little sister. You can get everything. You can even rent your own stall for €35 so if you're one of the poorer students among us, you may sell your own one-of-a-kind things. Double win! Get your tickets/stall. 

So there you go! Whether you're chugging beers in lederhosen at Oktoberfest, raving to hardstyle beats at Lost Memories, or winning a giant Louis Vuitton bear at the Breda fair, this month has something for everyone. And if you survive Halloween frights without losing your voice from screaming, you can recover by spending a day at the Snuffelmarkt, where you might just sell off the lederhosen you swore, you’d never wear again.
