During quarantine it’s easy to get caught up on your phone or being lazy. You’re sitting at home more than you’re used to, making it easy to get bored. Nevertheless, this is an amazing opportunity to keep working on personal growth and development! The following are some tips I follow on how to maintain steady growth.

Routines

Because everyone is spending most of the time indoors, people find easier ways to balance and maintain personal routines. These are important because they help keep track of your responsibilities and progress. Without them it would be impossible to measure progress. By keeping track of routines, you get perspective of how much free time you have to work on yourself.

Set goals

Because development is so personal it’s important to set certain goals or milestones for yourself. Keep in mind that this should not necessarily be related to external assets like for example money, but rather personal goals you set for yourself like working on your attitude or how to control your temper.

Reflect

Reflecting and looking back at the moment is also part of the journey. It's healthy to look back at certain situation and think back about your reaction to it. This can bring answers you we’re urgently looking for or provide new intel about yourself. In order to grow, you need to know where you currently stand. By looking back you actually witness growth and thrive to be the best version of ourselves.

Trust the process

This is probably the most important step of all. Learning how to cope with your progress at your own pace. The people you look up to make it seem effortless how they got to their current position, but we have to realize that that’s okay. We all have different gifts and talents, and some of us take a little longer to discover ours.
