In the TV Department of BUAS people are currently working hard on new video projects that will hit you eyeballs over the course of this new semester. The one I am going to present to you is the “Expedition Hub” , a game show where 3 contestants will compete against each other in challenges which are based on the many departments at BUAS. Are you interested in competing or are you interested in watching then keep reading!
The challenges
The challenges vary across the different departments at BUAS, some examples that are currently taken into consideration are, organising a Lip Sync show (Leisure and events), Building a miniature city (Built environment) or a game competition (Game Development). But beware these are not 100% final and just a sneak peak of what to expect. If you have some idea (maybe also from your own department) you can send in your own challenge for the participants.
The price - How to apply
The participants will fight for a price per episode which will be a BUas Hoodie or other goodies, for the winners of the whole show there will be a big gift package, which will include products from local companies in Breda. Want to take part in the Expedition Hub as a challenger and you think you have what it takes to win the price? The Expedition Hub Team are still searching for the participants for the first season, so if you are interested send a message to Margaux Molkenboer (192184).
Where to watch
As you are currently reading this article on the BUAS HUB you are in the place to be. Just select the “Watch” Tab on the HUB Page to see the most current releases. Due to COVID-19 restrictions there are still some delays which prevent filming at the moment, but the crew is working on it to get started as soon as it’s safe for everyone. For updates about the release of the Expedition HUB keep subscribed to the BUAS HUB Instagram Page, as well as the BUAS Media Instagram Page.
Further ongoing TV Projects
Of course, there are also other projects that are being worked on by the TV department. One of these shows will be a HUB Sports Show where the plan is to showcase how some sports work and how to get into them. Another show that is in the making is a cooking show which will be a sort of “cook of” between students and maybe even teachers. If you also are interested in those you just have to look out for updates on the Social Media channels as well as the BUAS HUB Site.
I hope, I was able to bring you the HUB Shows to your attention and that you are looking forward to seeing them in the near future. Unfortunately, I was not able to give you exact dates and specifics as in these times a lot of things are prone to change. But I can tell you that many students are working hard to bring a great experience to you, our audience, and that you really should check out their creations.
