Are you bored of the games on your laptop? Can’t find anything interesting to play with your friends, since most of the games on Steam have a price worth half of your monthly rent? Specifically, for you, we compiled this list of three cheap multiplayer games that you (probably) have not heard of before! Today we’ve got: a medieval Horror Lethal Company-like, a silly stick figure PvP, and an Office Simulator.
Pilgrim (Steam) – € 7,79
Are you a big horror fan? Do you want to play something scary with your friends, but over-played Lethal Company to the point where even reaching 10000 quota doesn’t seem that impressive? Or maybe you’ve already gotten the golden Apocalypse trophy in Phasmophobia and want a new challenge? Pilgrim is a medieval horror experience that combines previously known successful gameplay and co-op elements while retaining its own touch and uniqueness. You and your friends will be playing as Pilgrims in a dark and moody medieval world. (Picture designed by rawpixel.com / Freepik)
You and your friends will be playing as Pilgrims in a dark and moody medieval world. There’s only one goal – reach the end of the road, but where it ends is only for you to figure out. No one knows what awaits outside of the city walls, but one thing is for sure - it can’t be anything good. After all, no one has ever returned from a pilgrimage before…
Starting with a limited amount of fuel, you and your teammates will travel around the world, meet merchants, visit catacombs and dungeons, steal more fuel, and, most importantly, die from the stupidity of your crew. But worry not, as long as at least one teammate keeps their head on their shoulders you will have a chance to come back from the underworld! Well, if you have 30 coins that is…
The game is currently in early access, so be wary of possible bugs. Thankfully, the developers are very responsive to feedback and continue improving their game with each new update. You can play Pilgrim with your friends or an unlimited number of strangers for only 7,79 euros!
Wanba Warriors – €4,99
Were you scared of Five Nights at Freddy’s as a child? Is a Horror not really your thing? Don’t worry, we got you. Introducing Wanba Warriors, a PvP Parody multiplayer game in which you will be fighting as, you will never guess it, a Wanba Warrior! In a world of stick figures, you are an extraordinary fighter battling your fellow champions with supernatural powers and unique weapons. Choose your character, then choose another one and fight your friends till one of you gets a chance to bask in the triumph of glory. Don’t have any friends? That is not a problem! Wanba Warriors has a game mode that allows you to battle AI instead.
In the free demo version of Wanba Warriors you can choose any of the four characters with unique abilities and skills, and if you buy the full version, you will get two more and a whole lot of quality-of-life improvements. Additionally, there are character packs available for 2,99 each. The game mechanics and fighting style are unique and take time to get used to, although if you have been acquainted with “Getting Over It” this game will be nothing but a piece of cake. All of the characters have sticks they use for both fighting and moving. On top of that, depending on your choices you will also get unique skills available for specific characters only – so choose wisely.
The developers recommend playing with controllers, and so do we (this might even give you an advantage against your friends, but shh, you didn’t hear that from us). You can check Wanba Warriors demo version out on Steam for free or buy the full game for only 4,99 euros.
Dale & Dawson Stationary Supplies – €7,79
Not a fan of fighting? Do you prefer a down-to-earth realism over a saturation of horror and violence? Then we have a perfect solution for you, Dale & Dawson Stationary Supplies! Now you can spend your free time working as an office clerk! And guess what, you don’t even have to pay that much! Have you ever thought of spanking your co-workers? Now is your chance.
Dale & Dawson Stationary Supplies is a social deduction game with proximity chat, which is something you are probably not used to, considering that games like Among Us don't have one. There are three main roles: the manager, the specialist, and the slacker. Your main goals will greatly differ depending on your role, making it fun and exciting in the long term. As a manager, you have all the power to fire players to ensure the best workflow for your company. Don’t let the power get to you, though, you’re not that important. The actual backbone of the firm are the specialists. They take care of financial matters and tasks, while the slackers are getting away with doing nothing and drawing silly faces on the office computers. As a slacker, your main goal will be being the worst co-worker and not getting fired – after all, qualified or not, you still have some bills to pay.
Utilize proximity chat and real-time discussions to find slackers, draw faces on your work screen, smoke in front of your boss, and vote out the most hardworking teammate! Play with your friends or in a random lobby for only 7,79 euros on Steam!
Spending Quality Time
Although it can always be fun to come back to good old titles, over-playing something ruins even the most innovative and creative gameplay. So, it’s time to take a break from Fortnite and Apex Legends and play something different for a change. Hopefully this article gave you an idea on what to do this weekend. Maybe we even inspired you to discover something different and change up your gaming routine as well! Enjoy your weekend and we’ll be back later this year with more game-related articles!
