Introduction to mindfulness
Do you notice that you worry a lot about things and are therefore somewhat stressed, gloomy or anxious? Then mindfulness might be something for you.
Mindfulness is about paying attention to what is happening moment to moment without judgment. It means paying attention to yourself and the things you do. More often with your attention in the now can give more peace and a better concentration.
During the workshop you will get a short introduction to mindfulness. After the workshop you can decide whether you will participate in the in-depth training of five meetings.
In the training you learn to focus on a focus, for example your breathing or your body, and you become more aware of (automatic) thoughts, feelings and physical reactions. In addition to focusing your attention, you learn to be more open to what is there, without judging, so to be in a relaxed way with what is there. You can practice mindfulness in the (meditation) exercises developed for this purpose that you learn in the training, but also in everyday life, by doing something normal with attention.
