“You just got served” recipes:

Have you already watched the new BUas show: “you just go served” here on the Hub? If you haven’t yet, we suggest you have look now! The show is filled with several amazing and delicious dishes that you really have to try and together with our hostess Daena, you will meet 5 amazing BUas professionals at the same time!

Below you will find the recipes that are being used in each separate episode.

Episode 1: Veggie Burgers with Fritz Kohle


What you will need:

- Buns of choice

- vegetarian burgers

- sauce

- arugola

- red onions

- Gherkins


Steps for the cooking:


1. Start by toasting the buns of your choice


2. Coat the veggie burgers in some oil, and put them in a pan or on a grill, which every you have available. (you can find the original, Greek or Sicilian burgers used in episode 1 of "you just got served" at your local Albert Heijn).


3. Add half a slice of old Gouda Cheese to the burger and let it melt on top of it.


4. Take some arugula and cover the bottom of the bun


5. Take the burger (with cheese) and place it on top of the arugula.


6. Pick a sauce and add to burger (honey mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup etc.)


7. Place some gherkins and red unions on top of the sauce to add that extra bit of juiciness.


8. Take the top of the bun, and push it down on the rest of your freshly prepared burger.



Episode 2: Oven camembert with Ralph Palmer

What you will need:

· Three camembert’s (one will be set up on the counter).

· Sheets of filo sheets.

· Two compotes (one cranberry & one apricot).

· Water (in a small bowl → to coat the wrapped cheese).

Steps for the cooking:


1.

  1. Take the filo sheets out of the package, and place them down on a plate.

2.

  1. Make sure the camembert is set and ready to go.

3.

  1. Start wrapping the camembert in the filo sheets, do it with care.

4.

  1. After you finish wrapping, put it in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes (write down degrees later; doesn’t matter for now).

5.

  1. Take it out of the oven and place it on a plate (in our case a wooden cutting board).



6.

  1. Grab a small plate, and cut off a piece of wrapped camembert, place it on the plate.


7.

  1. With a spoon, take a compote of your choosing and lay it down next to the wrapped camembert.



8.

  1. With a fork, take a piece of the wrapped camembert and dip it into the sweet compote.

Episode 3: Wrap/Taco’s with Fraser Robinson

What you will need:

· White onion

· Frying oil

· Lean ground beef mix

· Red onion

· Tomato

· Red pepper

· Chilli pepper

· Garlic

· Coriander

· Ripe avocados

· Cheese

· Carrot

· Green onion

· Medium chillies

· Taco shells/wraps

Steps for the cooking:

  1. 1. Dice one white onion and start to fry with a little oil. After a minute add serving of lean ground beef mix in spice mix with a little water. Once cooked through and the water boiled off take off the heat.

2. Cut one red onion plus tomato, red pepper and chili pepper into large pieces and put. in the oven to roast, along with some whole garlic. -

3. Finely chop one red onion, tomato, coriander and add some lime to create the fresh salsa.

4. Finely chop one red onion, coriander and mince garlic. Dice two ripe avocados and mix together with a little lime to create the guacamole. -

5. Grate cheese and carrot, chop up green onion and medium chilies.

6. Remove vegetables from the oven and blend with chipotle peppers to a fine consistency to create the smoky/hot salsa.

7. Put the taco shells (wraps) in the oven for a couple of minutes to warm through.

8. Assemble your tacos with beer, carrot, cheese, chilies and green onion to taste with a salsa of your choice or guacamole.
